Sorting Gmail....

Hi guys,

I am wanting to sort my gmail out, unfortunately I have had it since 2006 and have 50k emails in it, I would say around 49k of them are rubbish I could delete! However, some I want to keep, I don't suppose there are any addons or so forth that would let me select from the email addresses in my my mailbox so I could tick them and it deletes them? Sounds a long shot I know...

Gmail's filtering is fairly powerful, so may be able to do what you want without addons

E.g. you can do things like before:2018/01/05 to find all messages before today, or from:[email protected] to find all that match an address
then tick the select box and if there is more than a page it will prompt "All conversations on this page are selected - Select all conversations that match this search" and then delete.
