after book no.3 i really wouldn't have said they are childrens books. and considering practically the whole country (maybe an over exageration, but it was hardly a specialist bookshop affair) has read some of the books or even just watched the films it would be hard to miss the link, one might say you'd have had to have been living under a rock...oh wait, i did.

The later ones definetly weren't childrens books, they were written to keep up with the ages of the people who would have read the first book.
