Sorting server names in Remote Desktops console??

Hi Guys

When you add servers it keeps the list "as is" but I'd like them in name order?

Google didn't pull up much in the way of a fix? Just re-add all the servers in the correct order

Anyone managed to do this or have the same issue!?

Well I don't use it like that.

The best way I can think of is to create Remote Desktop shortcuts and put them in a folder on your destkop. You can then sort it anyway you want.

Hello

I looked into this myself recently. The MMC unfortunately offers very little in way of organising the connections. I installed Visionapp remote desktop which is free and twenty times better than the MMC (it will manage and store credentials for each server etc).

I have lived with this problem for ages. Thanks for the heads up on the link, I will give this ago tomorrow

Looks like it integrates with VNC but didn't get time to look properly, just added about 40 servers and that was it
