I got a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Sound Card OEM today but when I put the CD in it came up with X-Fi or something. I tried installing it anyway but in my device manager it still has "multimedia audio controller" with a yellow question mark next to it. I uninstalled what came with the CD and went on the Creative website, I downloaded the drivers for the Augigy SE but when I open the installation file it says "You have previously installed drivers without rebooting, please reboot and try again."

I tried rebooting but the same problem came and it said the same thing. Does anyone know about this problem?

If you're running WinXp then try using the restor point from system recovery to go back to before you installed the driver. Windows usually automatically does a restor point before installing drivers.

Not sure what to say that can help you but I can say I bought the same card 2 days ago and have installed it no problem.

I did have to download the updated drivers for it so it would work in bf2

I managed to install off the CD as it turns out u have to use the driver installation wizard. I still cant install the web updated ones however, what difference does it make in BF2 if I install them?
