Hi Folks
I have what was once a pretty good sound card, but since going to Windows7 x64, I tend to get a little popping and very short (millisecond) cutouts when gaming.
I can't aford an expensive replacement, but have been looking at new ones. Seems they're a lot dearer these days?
Basically, the question is whether or not there's any advantage with a PCI Express model? Seems the majority are still standard PCI.
My mobo is an Asus P5K-E.
Thanks
