Sound in flash player isn't working

Hi,

Well I have finally sorted out my videos after you guys completely broke it for me.

Only problem now is I have no sound in flash player, like when I'm on google video. Ideas?

What version of flash have you got installed?
You might need a newer version. Just a thought.

Adobe Flash Player 9 ActiveX. I downloaded the other day to try and get the sound working.

Try viewing the pages in Firefox.

I usually find that Firefox will download the latest version of whichever player I need to view stuff by itself and it just works.

Also, check volume controls on pc and flash app

It might sound daft but enable "play sounds in web pages" in IE. Adobe seem to have changed this in the latest version for this setting to include Flash. Did that myself.

Also checked whether that tick box is checked in IE afraser2k.

Sorry, you didn't mention that in your original post so I assumed you were using IE.
