Hi guys got a relatively confusing problem here, and will try and explain it the best I can. I have an asus xonar sound card, seinheiser pc360 headset and aego m2 speakers. Now originally i was only using my headset for all my sound and through my soundcard. The speakers were purchased more recently and for some reason or another would not agree with the soundcard so i had to use them with onboard sound. now obviously that wasn't an ideal solution but it got me by..for a while. Now I am starting to get serious interference (crackle) in both through my headset and my speakers but intermitently.
What is causing this as the problem clearly isn't in my soundcard or my speakers. I was thinking it might have something to do with the motherboard not liking the fact that it was supporting onboard sound and a soundcard side-by-side, then again I could be well wide of the mark. The motherboard is Intel X58 DDR3.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
