I bought a Audio-Technica ATR3350 (ATR35s) and have plugged it into my microphone port on my motherboard (pink 3.5mm jack).
For some reason though, i have to have the microphone touching my lips to get any sound.
The volume is turned up on the mic settings to 100 and volume boost on 0db, but if i put it to 30db you can hear it but can also hear a lot of fuzzyness in the background too which clearly isn't right.
How can i adjust this if it's already on 100?
Using windows 7 by the way and the mic only has an on/off switch.
Thanks,
Andy
