Hi
So my computer rebooted itself before, just a random occurence so it seemed. But now, when I double click on the sound icon in the system tray it comes up saying:
"There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware. This program will now close."
The thing is all of the audio codecs are installed properly, and I am still getting the Windows system sounds but no other sound, eg. playing music, YouTube videos.
I've checked all of the codecs and it says they are all enabled and working properly. I have no idea how the sound can just suddenly stop working like this.
Does any one have any idea what the problem could be, and if so, how do I fix it?
Thanks for your help.
