Sorry if this is in the wrong section but just wanted to get some advice about a sound issue.

My sound volume keeps dimming every 30 seconds or so for a few seconds then goes back to normal . .. it's really annoying! Doesn't happen out of the headphones socket . . .speakers have worked fine for a couple of years . . have installed new drivers etc. post the problem starting but no joy . .doesnt seem to be the speaker lead . ..

any advice?
