For some reason after my old TDK or TDH whatever they are called headphones died i got my self the Fatality headset from a friend to try out. When i got into GTA:SA i could not hear half the sounds; most of the ambient sounds were really low so i could just barely hear them. I could only hear the radio stations and low gun sounds. I could only hear the sounds good enough if i backed up into a wall which sent me to first person but only the sounds from like 2m away.
I then bought a new headset Medusa Stereo headset for like 15 quid and its still the same thing. I managed to get my old headphones working for a while and i still have sound problems in that game. I don't think I've got any sound problems in other games I'm not sure anyway i haven't noticed.
