Sound Settings in Windows XP

Hi Guys
i have a small problem with my sounds settings in windows xp . i am trying to adjust my sound settings in the advanced settings panel . there are two sliders one says Bass and the other says Treble .but for some reason there both grayed out so i can move them . does anyone know how to un gray them so i can change the sounds settings .

have you got the most uptodate drivers/software of there site?

when i got this card i never got a driver disk with it. but i did download the newest drivers from there site .should there have been some software that should have came with it to let me override the windows settings ?

not sure pal as ive never used this card sorry have another look at ther site is all i can sudgest up to yet
