Hey guys,

I have a question regarding my computer sound setup which is layed out like this-

Xonar D1 sound card --->Stereo audio cable (male to male)---->Bravo Audio V2 Headphone Amp---->plantronics gamecom 380 Headphones.

The problem im having,Listening to music is sounds great very clear,But when playing Battlefield 3.. when i move the player for example turning around or going from left to right the sounds cut out from the angle im turning away from.

Its like i only hear the audio right ahead of me if that makes sense.

I've looked through the Xonar audio panel settings and also in BF3s audio settings but tried mostly everything.

Is it because im only running the one cable from my sound card into the Headphone Amp?

Appreciate the help.
Thanks.

For BF3 you want to set the Xonar Audio Centre to 8 channels, as opposed to 2 for music.

Go to the audio settings in game and set it to Headphone, and also underneath turn on 'Enhanced Stereo Mode'.

Hi mate thanks for replying,

Cant see 8 channels in the Xonar Audio Centre?
This is what i see.

Thanks!

Hmm, you're not running XP are you?

Seem to remember there being a difference in the way sound is handled between the OS's.... Could be wrong though.

Edit: nvm; just seen your sig. You have W7. :(

That's strange. When using Vista/7, above sample rate, should be Audio Channel.

You can see it in this picture taken from a thread that is a couple of years old.

Unless Asus have changed it for some reason?
