Hello!
My dad has recently got a (cheap-ish) new LCD TV. The picture is very good, obviously its fine in HD and whatnot, but he's not over happy with the sound.
Obviously sound is a problem with HDTV's as they are very thin and the speakers arent really better than older TV's because of the size issues.
What would be the best solution to get a new sound system for this? Im not clued up at all when it comes to sound/speaker systems etc and I was wondering what people had to suggest.
I think two large "tower" like speakers either side of the TV and a Subwoofer of some kind would be good, provided it would all work ok with the TV (here) and a Sky+ HD setup with minimum hassle and such!
Thanks in advance for any help
