Soundbar Okay in Corner?

Hi. I've been thinking about getting my dad a soundbar for Christmas - he likes the picture on his telly, but the sound is mediocre. The potential problem is that his TV is in the corner of the living room and I've no idea if soundbars are suited to that kind of layout? If it'll work just fine, any recommendations for around 150 notes?

It will work fine.

Not much experience with soundbars, but Yamaha are usually one of the best manufacturers for soundbars. If you've got a local Richer Sounds store, they have a YAS105 for £150, which gets good reviews and comments. In store only though. There's also a Yamaha YAS93 on the jungle site for £160.

Nice one, thanks @Marsman. I've had one or two pieces of Yamaha gear over the years, and they always impressed. Will check those models out.
