Source 2 engine confirmed

Games i would like to see on the source engine 2:
HL3 :p
Day Of Defeat Source 2
Dark Messiah Might And Magic 2
Counter Strike Source 2
Garrys mod Source 2
 
The guy asks two open ended questions and the Gabe just replies with "Yeah"

Means nothing. This in no way confirms a new source engine,
Although it would be stupid for us all to deny a new engine was nearing its completion, with PS4 Dev kits already up and running.
 
Valve are always adding new stuff to Source and they'll continue to do that until they decide its Source 2.

Because of the unstructured way they work everyone and no one is working on a new game engine and Half Life 3.

The guy actually says "Is it going to me MORE than *something something* source, is it an entirely new engine?"

"Yeah"

Pretty clear cut if you ask me.

They'll continue to do it well afterwards as well. No matter how many times you hear a developer saying "all new", it never is. HL2 still had lines from
Quake in it because there was no need to change them.

They'll continue to use parts of the engine that a fig for purpose and don't require changing. If its not broken, don't fix it. :)
