Hello,
I'm after some recommendations for sourcing components.
I want to set my self a challenge of making my own usb connected visualiser.
There are a few on the market but they offer underwhelming image quality and generally are made from brittle, easy to break plastic.
I'd like to source some high quality components to try my hand at making my own. I'm after a camera module. Light source (will a simple LED do?). A swan neck style arm to hold the camera (so it can be twisted around to point at things, etc...)
I assume I also need some form of circuit board to connect it all together.
I'm then going to try and write the software using html 5.
I have experience in programming but none in hardware. This will be a steep learning curve for me but I'd like the challenge.
Any pointers or help would be appreciated!
