I'm trying to find somewhere to buy 4 x 16uF non polarized, 200v+ radial capacitors but no where seems to stock them. Does anyone know where I could find such a thing?

Except those that Soundsgood wants are 16uF 200V+, not 1,000uF 16V.

How much space have you got Soundsgood?

Why do they have to be non-polarized? There are some on the bay that are 220V, £3.70 for a pack of 100, if 20% uncertainty is good enough for you (although in a hundred there are going to be four that are spot on anyway, as long as you can check it).

They are for audio crossovers, I wish they were non-polarized as I bought a pack of them today and didn't realise my mistake until I got home :p

What about that quirky little electronics shop that's somewhere in Sheffield. I don't for the life of me remember it's name, will try to find out - not sure if it'll even be there still. It's been a good 10 years since I was there. Someone must know what it was called.

Bit abstract, but if you soldered the positive leads of two capacitors together and soldered the negative leads to the circuit, wouldn't you essentially have a non-polarized capacitor of half the initial value? So if you connected two of those in parallel you would have what you wanted, albeit in a somewhat convoluted form :)

I'd wait for somebody to confirm that :p
