Spa Closed and Re-opened

What is it with good for nothing idiots going about annoying other people and businesses

Not that I'm in any way suggesting they're right, but one could say the same thing about tracks.. all they do is generate traffic and noise, meaning pedestrians can't walk to the shops in peace and houses and businesses must keep their windows shut to keep the noise out.
;)

So don't move near a track.

same happened at Croft circuit in North Yorkshire, one residence took croft to court and won :(. Now they are limited to major events (BTCC, BSB and a few others and are only allowed a few track days a rear.)

This.

It's like the morons who keep complaining about the noise at Castle Combe, despite the fact that the track was there way before them. Just ****ing do one you curtain-twitching oxygen-thieving coffin-dodgers

If it weren't for these race circuits the shops and locals would not be able to make a living in all likelyhood!

These people need to **** off, the tracks were there long before they were and if they are going to move into a cheap as chips house they can't moan about the noise!

Oh, I agree.. especially as the one in question was built in the '20s, although if it were a new track that for some reason was built in a built-up area (can't imagine that happens very much) there might be more grounds for complaint. I was just commenting on how the wording of the OP could quite easily be used against either party.

Hugs DreXel to help him calm down

Quoted for huge amounts of truth :)

If a race circuit ever got shut down I would happily join a mass noise making society around the household of the person who first lodged the complaint! Then send the boys in to sort them out!

Lines of cars with straight through pipes, and preferably V8/V12 exotica!

Nothing stopping people driving up and down outside that persons house all weekend for the next year.

I want to do this to the people at Croft. Every Sunday morning get a group of guys with LOUD exhausts and just park up outside their house revving the engines for an hour.

That'll learn em ;)

Thing is its the minority ruining it and you would more than likely ruin the non complainers mornings too which is unfair on them! but maybe a bit of peer pressure would sort them out.

Legal issues doing that, best was is to make the quiet country roads outside these peoples houses resemble the M25 at 8:30am on a Monday morning.

Good thing is, the person who I suspect at Croft.. infact there are 2 houses which are absolutley isolated so you couldn't peev off anyone but the complainers ;)
