Space 1999

Loved both UFO and Space 1999. Had the Shadow Interceptor and the Mobile. My dad carved a wooden UFO which he painted silver and I spent many a happy hour shooting it down and pretending to interrogate survivors.

Had the green Eagle Transporter, but very carefully repainted to match the white ones on TV.

Last seen in the hands of my nephew 10-15 years ago and I’m hoping they survived for my great nephews to enjoy them.

Didn't they slide out as skeletons?

It left a lasting impression on a young school kid!
 
I loved this show as a kid but I just have a vague memory of the entire place being covered in bubbles and looking like they just got out of the bath.
 
There was a 2 parter where people from earth came on the station but they were really green nasty monsters with one eye and only Koenig could see them as they were. I never saw part 2 of it so I'm looking forward to that one when I get there.

Apparently it was green because it was more visually appealing in the toy packet. Also, legend has it that the original design for the Millenium Falcon looked too much like an Eagle so George Lucas had a second design made.

Now that you mention it the Interceptor was green too though on the show it was white. Well well.

This channel also regularly streams Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, and I think I did see UFO on it at one time. It's Youtube so I guess they have the rights.
