Space Engineers [sandbox goodness]

Probably.

I spent £15 for it beginning of this year I think.
Spent around 40 or so hours on it. Ridiculous fun to be had with friends.

Early access, but is updated regularly.
Haven't been on in a while because I was waiting for a little more stability. Was thinking about diving back in soon, hoping its more solid.

I picked it up last week, and have only done the tutorials (which took me a couple hours), but it seems like it'd be a great game to play with a few mates. Or even on your own, provided you've got free time!

I think once that planets update comes out, I'll be pretty keen to get playing it.

Totally forgot about the planet update!

Yep, I'll be back on it then.

Absolute mega-bump on this thread! :D
I always found Space Engineers a bit difficult to get in to, and even forgot I had it in the Steam library!
Need to go back to it at some point, perhaps with a youtube tutorial first...

all things, its a pretty good sandbox with lots of creative people out there.
plenty of lets play and tutorials out there also.
its one of those games i think its much better with other people though.

Am interested in getting in from the start with Space Engineers 2, I have always been interested in Space Engineers 1 but never pulled the trigger and actually got the game because I was always a little put off by how complicated it looked, hopefully if I get in from the get-go with Space Engineers 2 I will get to grips with it easier than diving into Space Engineers 1 late in the day.

for £25 i think its worth it based on SE1

Been dipping in and out of one recently (had no idea second was being teased).

But it is complex and with my short attention span and the time needed to play I know I'll never get anywhere with it, like Satisfactory or Factorio.
I think I've always liked the idea of the games more than the actual games themselves.

Yeah, now that I have completed Satisfactory I have space in my playlist for another builder type of game :)

Looking forward to SE 2 as have enjoyed sessions with mates on the original but I agree it does take some getting used to and I'm still just a basic spaceship builder!

Will grab early access to the new one methinks!

Forgive me for asking, but how can you complete the game? I thought it's pretty much a sandbox, although there is an objective so you never truly complete it a bit like Minecraft or whatever.
