Space Trader MMO

OK bit of a difficult one, i'm a huge fan of Firefly and ever since my Elite days (BBC B rulez) ive liked that whole trading in space thing. Ive looked at Eve and the external point and click view puts me off, I was hoping for an internal 'spaceship' feel where you fly with a joystick et al.

Is there anything like this out there? I suppose I would have heard of Elite Online and I now in the far flung possibly vaporware future there will be an a Firefly MMORPG but just in the meantime... anyone know of anything?

Did try Eve, couldnt get into it. The third person view, lack of flight control and those kinda things threw me right off although I did see why it could be really addictive, just not my cup of tea. The search goes on
