Spam emails I can't unsub from

For months I've been getting these emails almost every day, selling me everything from medical insurance, to offers from Argos or Oral B and many other UK companies. At the bottom of these emails, it says this offer is brought to you by Webures Services, Ventura Blvd CA, USA.

When I try to unsubscribe it says my email address is not valid or recognised. I always register each email as spam, and as it gets deleted, it shows me the actual email address that's been blocked and that it was sent from. It's always a different email address. So it looks like multiple people are sending me this junk. Any way I can finally stop them being sent?
 
Sadly chances are all you've done by unsubscribing is confirmed the account is active. Did the amount increase since you unsubscribed?

As to what you can do about it it depends on what you use for email. If youre using outlook/thunderbird clients then you can install a third party spam filter. I have had a massive reduction in spam using Cloudmark desktopone plugin for outlook.
 
Just block them on your email platform, i get tons of spam but not very much makes its way into my actual inbox as a result.

Unsubbing seems like a waste of time to me, as youve found.
 
Well it's my phone that I tend to see this stuff. My laptop uses windows live mail and auto filters spam.

Has it increased? Not sure tbh. A few months ago I kept manually registering each email as spam. Eventually didn't get any more for quite a while, but now it's started again, about 1 or 2 each day.
 
You need to block them on the platform, not the end user device. You then wont see this stuff.
 
Depends what it is...using outlook.com as my own platform you log into the web version of it (i never actually use this day to day) and there are block lists, junk email lists, etc.

I tend to just add any new spam to one of those lists using wildcards to catch all variations on the address.
 
Using windows mail and have had the same issue,s as Merlin5.Keep blocking them but they keep coming.
Even block the ones that say they are a no email addy.
In the end i have now wrote off both Hotmail emails and now have a new proton mail account.Just have to go back now and again to see if i missed any thing important to swap over.

well Jez thats intresting never new this will go and see if it will help me out.
 
Jez, my email address is with virgin media. Shall I go to the virgin media website and log into the webmail? But what am I going to block? I'm getting endless emails from different email addresses. I'm not sure trying to block Webures Services will stop them.
 
I made the mistake of signing a change.org petition once. Now I get spam for every little bizarro thing people want to make a fuss about.

They provide a link to unsub, but if you click it they want you to sign in, jump through hoops, kiss a donkey, find a Yeti... and to this day I've never been able to do it.

Oh well, I'll be sure to sign the next petition to make Justin Bieber day a national holiday, I guess.
