I've started to get increased amount of spam from ecomerce sites that I've never heard of. Mainly American. Lets say my main gmail address is [email protected], I get spam to it as well as [email protected] (which rightly comes to me as well).
In the last week I've had left item emails from:

TruClothing.com 8 Panel Baker Newsboy Hat Tweed Wool 1920s Peaky Cap £20.00
Enexo PRO Bloc prise encastrable compacte 16A - Otio Inox / 4 Quantité: 1
Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day® Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner Total: $24.00
fabercastell.com
holylandmarket.com
shop.thesak.com
amscope.com AmScope M150 Series Portable Student Monocular Compound Microscope 40X-1000X Magnification with LED and 1MP USB Eyepiece Camera Quantity: 1 — Total: $139.99

For a week or so I was clicking the unsubscribe link which all felt genuine, but I thought perhaps the attack vector here is get me complacent then one day I get a bad email with a bad link. So I stopped doing that.

Anyone else seen anything like this?

I've not had anything quite like that, but have wondered about the safety of clicking unsubscribe links sometimes... I normally prefer not to click on them and just log in manually to change preferences or let emails get sent to spam, but do click sometimes....

I'd guess the most likely reason for these emails is that someone with a similar email mistyped it one day and it got automatically saved by Chrome or whatever, and now gets autofilled in contact forms etc? Never know though...

I get these all the time - have a couple of "alter egos" in the US, one who is a pastor, and one guy who is constantly getting court summons in New Jersey for not paying traffic violations.

Have cancelled a few hotel bookings in the past, and also invited Donald Trump and Elon Musk to an Airbnb I was added to over Christmas

Same, i've got one Indian-American lady who is paying her relatives mobile in Mumbai and regularly hitting dating sites in the US - shes stopped trying to 'reclaim' the account, but regularly registers me for stuff which gets a bit annoying.

The sites your listing are pretty legit so i imagine willson101 is probably fat fingered
