Spanish Football 2011-2012

Some great games tomorrow night

7pm - SS3
Racing V Real Madrid

9pm - SS3
Valencia V Barcelona

A draw or win for Valencia would be a great a result.

No RM game on tv this weekend. Strange. They play newly promoted Rayo Vallecano while Barca are home to Athletico Madrid.

Interesting to see how Falcao does against Barca. He was excellent at tearing apart Celtics defense a few weeks ago. Barca have looked really shaky at the back this season.

Fun fact: Neither Barca or Real Madrid can go top this weekend.

I totally read that as porn.

Ronaldo was only starting to become "The best player in the world" when he left United. He was just another top 10 list at Man U.

Now Nani is a top 10 list at Man U. Which means he'll probably be sold for 50+ million next summer. :(

Messi is so unpredictable and almost impossible to defend against when he goes on those little runs. Who in the right mind would go near post from that angle?

When you play Barca you have to change your tactics completely. I think most defenders just get confused between normal tactics and playing against Messi tactics. They just stand there and leave huge wide open gaps for him to run in to. One guy just pokes his foot out and thinks "ah forgot it." lol.

Tonights games:

Sporting V Barcelona 7pm SS1
Espanyol V Real Madrid 9pm SS1

Barca can go top tonight by a point "if" they some how manage to win against a team that is bottom of the table and without a win.

What a boring game of keep ball by Barca.

Thats all they really need to do, score and play keep ball. No one can beat them if they do that. Boring.

Messi ripping the place up again.

I wonder if there will come a point where he will want to move just to try playing in a different environment? Happy as he is at Barca its getting to the point where theres no challenge left for him!

Ronaldo has done it in a couple of leagues, maybe Messi will fancy doing similar at some point?

I would bet my left nut on Messi never leaving Barcelona. No other club is good enough for a player like him.
