Would only have been offside if it touched biscuits or the Mallorca defender before Sanchez missed it, as far as I can tell nobody touched it after Messi so not a problem.

Ok couldn't tell poor stream at work. Still think this will affect real as they have gone back paraniod mode.

Thiago sent off for two yellows, the second a very debatable handball.

The standard of refereeing in La Liga is absolutely appalling. It makes games so frustrating to watch. As soon as a player hits the deck in this Barcelona game it is a free kick.

Yeah, not sure about that second yellow at all. Has made the game a lot more nervy unless Barca can get a second goal.

Benzema is so frustrating - completely rubbish the last two games with his finishing, when it was very important that he score... and today Madrid are cruising so of course he puts a couple of neat goals away.

Regarding the yellow card for handball. I swear I heard that in La Liga whether deliberate or not a yellow card is always given for a handball.

Yep. In theory this is a great idea because handball should only be given if it is deliberate; in practice the crap referees over there give handball any time there is contact between ball and hand.

Really looking forward to Barca v Bilbao later. Bilbao have struggled in the league of late but they ripped Shalke to pieces in the last few minutes of their Europa League game when they got their noses in front. If they score first it could be a cracker.

Ronaldo's goal was great, crazy amount of power from hardly any back lift from his foot.
