RM came with a plan and it's worked immensely, can't see anything other than a win.

A team defends well and in numbers thwarts Barcelona yet again by the looks of it. Chelsea should really fancy their chances on the counter on Tuesday.
Not sure Chelsea's old guard will have the fitness. Besides it's the only major thing Barce can win now you'd think they'll want to take this loss out on Chelsea.

The main difference between this game and the Chelsea game is that Barca should really have beaten Chelsea. They were all over them and had a million good chances. In this game though they have definitely been second best.

If Chelsea defend deep and restrict Barcelona to long shots they'll have a great chance. I think Barca will have to score 3 because Chelsea will get an away goal imo.
Real have been really poor going forward as well, Benzema etc. always seem to panick and just give the ball away.
You can't help but feel that if Barca had Casillas they would concede a lot less, Valdes is average and prone to mistakes, Casillas is just pure class.

They haven't been second best, just not that much better, far better than Chelsea who were very very lucky.

Casillas really is great. Shame Barca scored that chance because the first follow up save before the goal was wonderful.
Yeah, that claw back was nearly incredible. His save from Xavi in the first half when he was through wasn'd bad either
Yeah, considering Barce often defend with 2 or 3 men left at the back you'd think they'd splash their cash on an outstanding shot stopper. Valdes when relied on always lets them down. What a job he has, trophy cabinet full and rarely does anything!

Yeah they were much better than chelsea and should have scored about 5, but until half way through the second half here they hadn't even had a shot on target.

Madrid have done three things tonight they failed to do in the last few games against Barca
a) convert clear chances (Benzema ruining my point by being greedy when there was about 4 vs 2 at the end)
b) avoid lapses in concentration
c) avoid losing their temper and getting players sent off
Also, for all Barca's younger players slickness, they're used to playing in games they're winning, and it's been interesting to see how in the last couple of games their inexperience has reared it's head somewhat.
Knee-jerk prediction, but from this point forward I believe this Barca side under Pep won't ever beat Madrid with ease again. It's taken quite a few games but Mourinho has figured out how to get the players his team to do what he wants for 90mins. In previous games they've never kept their thinking caps on for the whole game (or kept 11 men).
