So pleased for Bottas This is a big one. Hope he wins WDC.
Wouldn't be surprised by a first lap incident between ham and bot soon.

Wcc is wrapped up

Gasly is lucky he can be so bad and not be in tenth
Renault are massively disappointing this year. Hulk is messing up nore than I expected
 
Hamilton seems out of sorts with his car - like he just cant seem to make it all click.

But one of the reasons Hamilton has been so successful is he is able to maintain a positive mental attitude and never give up. He will be starting the race with a point to prove today. I think he has had a better drive off the line than bottas all season. Bottas starts have been lacking. Hamilton will take advantage of that and get his elbows out at turn one.

I think only a fool would write Hamilton off for the WDC.
 
I've long said that I believe Hamilton is the best driver on the grid but Bottas seems to be outperforming him so far this season, whether it's Bottas who has stepped up or Hamilton getting a bit complacent who knows? it's still early days but it's good that someone is pushing Hamilton because Ferrari look like an also ran team.
 
In recent years Hamilton has actually started the season fairly slowly (he's only won 2 or 3 out of the first 7 GPs in the last 3 years) and tends to start dominating from about midseason. I'd be surprised if Bottas can keep ahead of him all season.
 
DNF for Hamilton would spice things up. Don't think he would be leaving quite so much room on the first corners if he was a race win or more behind.
 
Over my years of watching F1 this track is consistently the worst for entertainment (even Monaco has a bit of excitement or a crash occasionally!) and with 2 cars at the front with half a second in their pocket from the ones behind I can't see that changing today!
