Hello folks,

first time I have ever posted in Motors so please go easy on me ! :D I usually lurk around GD/ Photography/ Linux sub forums.

For my sins a own a '08 plate Vauxhall Vectra Estate (1.8 Life) and last night I had the pleasure of somebody in a local car park driving into the side of the car and then taking off.

There is a small dent in the nearside front door and some paint transfer on both the front and back doors. This is not really an issue, the main thing is the black plastic side skirt has been broken on the bottom and there is a sizable hole in it now. I don't want to leave it as water will gather in there and living on the coast a fair bit of that will be salt water.

So am after some advise on any reputable online places for spares, I have looked around and there seems to be plenty of places with massive variance in prices so I was wondering if there was anybody on here who would recommed a good place for these types of spares.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

I take it this is just a cover rather than the sill itself? If so the cheapest place to find a replacement is likely to be ebay - generally speaking with any bodywork the manufacturers own panels are by far and away the best to use when replacing, though to be fair with a stick on part like that there may be aftermarket options.

For example (for a saloon obviously but i'm assuming this is what you mean): egay

Vauxhall themselves might not be too expensive for a replacement

yeah that is the part i'm looking for. I'll have a look around ebay and see what I can see there seems to be a huge list of compatible cars on the listing you have put on so i'll have a look and see if I get lucky.
