SPD set incorrectly / timing can be lowered?

As you can see from the part number the ram is CL4-4-4 DDR 800, however the ram is running at 5-5-5-18 @ 400mhz, just like the SPD shows and is also displayed as 5-5-5-18 in the memory tab. Basically, can i lower the timing?

i set the timing and it seems to be running fine @ 2 volts, however i remember the voltage was written on the ram so i will check what it says there!
