Speak - Cover material

[H3av3N]

Does anyone know where you can buy the material that covers speakers ?

I've got an idea to do some modding when I build my new PC - as I have a set of the Logitech Z5500's

I want to pull off the black fabric from the covers, and replace this with red - to match my build, but cant find this stuff anywhere.

It feels semi stretchy. I was even thinking a few pairs of red tights lol......

Different materials will impact the sound of the speakers, for example, it may dampen or reduce the frequency response of the bass or recess the treble.

Personally, I would just remove the covers entirely, after all their sole purpose is to keep dust away - you could then wrap the front casing of the speakers?

Yeah im not sure to be honest.

This is how the speakers are now :

( please dont laugh at my paint skills lol )

but I want to get them roughly like this

What colour are they beneath the cover? Silver? Personally, I'd just mask them off and get a spray can

Yeah, silver with the cover off
