Speaker cables in wall

Looks like a clean job, can i ask how you managed to cut the plasterboard so precise?

And with the foam, does it set hard?

Foam sets solid, plasterboard is easy to cut with a stanley knife & straight edge, or I use a Bosch multi tool, cheaper makes available, brilliant thing to own, so many uses.

I have been toying with ideas on how to lay speaker cables in my new lounge. We have wooden flooring downstairs and immoveable MDF floorboards beneath the carpet upstairs and making a neat installation is going to be a ballache :(

No accessible crawl space down stairs.

One place I had had a access hatch in cupboard, which gave access to the whole crawl space.

You still on that Spanish beach?:D

Probably forgot, but what's the make of this combined switch & connection panel.

Right

It's an MK product but can't find the reference, the Cat 5/6 phone etc are all just clip ins so you can have whatever you want. Still can't find the plate on Honeywell's site, will speak to the sparkies in the morning and see what it is.

Thanks Macca, greatly appreciated.

So, it's part of MK's 'The Decorative Collection', but those back boxes aren't listed in my catalogue.:(

That back box, is impressive, will have to do a bit of googling later for prices.

They are in our catalougue we have here on site, maybe yours is out of date? we have the A5 hard bound little ones.

Back box looks great but I bet it's costly however you can use 4 standard double back boxes, you'll just have to do a lot of setting out.
