Hey guys I am looking to build a cheap PC, that I will later upgrade.

I want an AMD piledrive 8350 so that will take up half my budget. The mobo, ram and PSU will have to be cheap

Will use onboard GFX until I can upgrade the parts

Also don't need a monitor or OS

And feel free to tell me I'm an idiot and i may as well wait and just buy all good parts

You would probably be better of with a 8320 and a better mobo to be honest.

The APUs are good if you don't intend to upgrade the graphics. Otherwise an FX-6300 or 8320 with a graphics card will give much better performance.

Not keen on that SSD to be honest, I'd recommend 90GB+ for a boot drive even. Assuming the OP will be running windows 7/8.

An FM2 system isn't good for upgrades. There are no APUs to upgrade with, and if you're going to upgrade the GPU you may as well start with an i5 or an AM3+ system.

If the preference is AMD, then I'd get an 8320 and a cheap second hand GPU (something like a 6670 or 6770) and upgrade the card later.
