Spec a soundcard!

So in the next couple of weeks ill be buying myself these Corsair SP2500s and considering they arnt your standard £30 speakers, I thought it would be a good idea to look for a soundcard to accompany it. I've nevereven thought about a sound card before or owned one so all the input is appreciated ^^

oh also : due to my crossfire set up as seen here :

My available slots are the top PCI-Express 1X and the bottom PCI

I would probably not buy those speakers to be honest. Much better out there for the same / less, though what is your budget for the soundcard?

Really, Id like to spend up to £150 but can push it a bit if needed, and what would you advise instead of them?

I am a similar boat and very interested why you would not buy the speakers and what you would reccomend?
