Spec Advice - £1200-1500 Budget

It's been 5+ years since my last gaming PC purchase, but I think it's time to invest again. I've been looking at the pre-config machines on the site, but after reading the forums I decided to ask for some advice. Also I gather that OC will build it for me, against a parts spec for a fee (is that right and does anyone know roughly how much?), to enable some different configurations. I don't want to build it, or install Windows 10 myself.

On top of the £1200-1500 budget, I'll be looking to get a 27" 144hz+ monitor. I already have a 60hz 4k monitor that I use with my PS4 Pro, but gather on the budget I've mentioned, I'm better to go for higher refresh rates, as there's more benefit to that, than going for 4k gaming using my existing monitor.

Looking for a quiet system regarding the case/cooling, 500GB SSD, 2070 Nvidia graphics, with the best option on Motherboard/Processor, pretty agnostic here, although have always used Intel in the past.

Thank you in advance for any input!

I'm going to steal this from with edits from elsewhere as it's a great starting point

Now the motherboard is overkill and you could probably save £80 or so if you wait for B550 to be released in a months time.
Equally you can save £130 and get a Ryzen 3600 for the moment (hex core will be good enough for gaming) - and another £130 if you switch to a 2070 from the 2070 super.

:D

I'd switch the case out too personally, £140 on that is a bit rich for my taste. I only really specified it because the guy in the other thread had listed it in his own components check list.

I know nothing about cases - I'm currently building a PC to replace a laptop and the only reason why I've gone for a LianLi o11 is because it will just about fit on the desk, take an ATX board and I can watercool it later for entertainment.

But as you say that's another £50 that can be saved when someone recommends something cheaper.

Thank you to you both for comments and suggestions.

I'm keen to stick with the 2070 super and the Ryzen 3700 as the base; welcome motherboard / case / cooling / RAM suggestions, for best in class vs. price point. Quiet is more important than looks with the case etc, also would water cooled be quieter than fan cooled?
I also need Windows 10.

That AiO is crap, the Mugen 5 I recommended is vastly superior while the same price.

Why spend MORE money on slower RAM with that Corsair stuff?

You don't need to spend anywhere near that on Windows.

That SSD is restricted to SATA speeds, although you do save money on it.

The B450 Elite isn't the best B450 given the price, the following are all vastly superior:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £339.89 (includes shipping: £0.00)

We should say that installing windows nowadays is a completely painless experience. You download it from Microsoft, load it on to a usb stick and insert the usb stick prior to booting up the PC.

5 minutes later you will be in windows, 5/10 minutes after that the drivers will be installed (that bit depends on your internet speed).

Thank you for the further suggestions, I've updated the basket somewhat based on feedback and what is in stock:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,482.03 (includes shipping: £13.20)

Questions remaining:
The PSU is out of stock; any alternate recommendations?
Any concerns with future upgrades with the motherboard selection? (later CPU, RAM or GFX cards)
Is the case compatible with the components; I'm completely ambivalent on case selection?
Will the cooling / case be quiet, compared to others?
Are any other items required (thermal paste etc.), I have keyboard/mouse/speakers?

Appreciate the comments on Windows 10, I can take it off or not etc.
