Spec build

Hey can someone spec a build for my friend.
He uses his desktop for heavy gaming, internet, movies etc
He has £1700 for tower and then £100 for mouse and keyboard

He was hoping for 4k build. Which uses skylake and most recent technology. He does not want ant blackpool light case haha. Just something cool and quiet.

A strip inside.

Or if you get a Phanteks Luxe case then that has lighting on the outside and you can buy a LED strip especially for it.

Hi All,

started my build but have amended the build slightly went with the Phanteks luxe case and changed from Seagate to WD hard drive.

I need a few extra bits wondered could someone recommend a sound card plus speakers. Also a wireless card (hopefully they are all the same but didn't want to risk it)

It does have onboard sound that does a job.

Speakers depends on budget.

Speakers say £40-50 for a nice 2.1 setup.

I dont know much about wifi cards but get a PCI_E one so it fits.

Probably, 3400Mhz is a tough speed to run and may need some fiddling in the bios to get it going.
