Solid looking system that, how's it getting on?

What made you go with the phanteks over the fractal case? Any regrets with the choice?

Hi mate,

The system is great, I had to change the AIO though as it was making weird noises still after a few days and was louder than I would have liked. Got a Dark Rock Pro 4 instead and it’s brilliant and very quiet :)

The case is fantastic, great build quality and design. Great airflow and space and keeps the noise down well too. I was deciding between P600s and the BeQuiet case, no idea regarding Fractal.

Awesome! I'm assuming your gaming experience has changed a lot? higher and more consistent frame rates etc.?

I looked into the Phanteks P600S after reading this post and I'm sold. I have struck the Fractal off the list and will be getting the windowless P600S - looks to be an amazing spec and design for the money.

Just need this flippin' X570 Tomahawk to be released so I can start buying stuff

Might of been air in the loop, know what your doing and easy to top up. Still seems factory in China they part own isn't topping up fully :/

DRP4 is a beast of a cooler !!!

What idle (like browsing and vlc etc) and load (gaming) temperatures are you getting on the cpu with that cooler?
Does the motherboard ramp up your case / pch fans a lot?

Idle is around 33c and max is 65c on games. 2070s seems to max out at 67c. Think there’s an off kilter fan in the 2070s so I’m exchanging that this week and then I’ll be set :)

There was a fair bit of revving with the cpu boosting behaviour that Ryzen seem to do? So I set my own custom fan curves via Auros bios and it’s pretty much silent and sits at the temperatures I mentioned above. Love it :)
