Hi,

I've had enough of laptops, would need to spend a fortune to get Visual Studio to run with decent performance so I've decided to build a new PC.

Sticking to mATX cause I think it looks nicer, I would also like the system to run quiet. I have decided on most components but need advice on a GFX card and a quiet CPU fan. I am not interested in overclocking the system.

Here's what I have, advice on graphics card and CPU fan would be great.

Thanks

Matt

what sort of budget you looking at for gfx card?
If youre not overclocking then a simple freezer 7 pro would more than do for keeping system cool n quiet

wont game much, low as possible but to be able to play games like the new battlefield on medium.
cpu fan, 20 quid really. i liked the freezer, if they still as good as they were compared to the new stuff, i would be more than happy to use one of them again

ram http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-094-KS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517 cheaper and wouldn't interfer with the cpu cooler

just get the retail version of the cpu, only £3 more comes with a cooler(which you can use if not overclocking) and you get 2years more warranty(3years vs 1yr).

the gelid tranquilo(£26), corsair a50(£25) and cooler master hyper 212+(£25) are the 3 most recommended coolers but not sure if they'll fit in the case.

Why don't you want to OC? Just got my i5-2500k and OC'd it to 4.4GHz with 1 button and it's probably running 5 degrees more than before.

For the cooler get this, excellent cooler, looks amazing as well.
