spec check on PSU before i buy

hi guys this will be my 1st pc and first build so just want to check this on PSU's b4 i buy, i will be overclocking probably a few months down the line once i got my head around all of it 1st, i will be mostly picture editing with light video editing, no gaming at all

this was the PSU suggested by a few oc'ers on here on the list below

my mate just came round and thinks he knows a lot abotu pc's and allways suggests i change things on my list....he suggested i get a modular PSU and suggested these ones above the one above,

i dont think he knows that much and just likes to pick at my list :( what would you guys suggest for a corsair PSU under £100...... and would you go for modular? any and all help welcome thank you kindly :)

But not modular though, what GPU are you looking at using?

I would certainly change the PSU and the RAM/Cooler..

The RAM may clash with the cooler as its high profile..

That PSU is way overspeeced.

Some GPU will help your video/photo editing.
 
haha thanks buddy just see your post and replied on the other one lol, i wont be using a GPU as not gaming', i do know some video and picture editing will benefit with a gpu but cant afford one for a few months so will be using onboard, would you go for the ones you suggested over a corsair and modular then, this is my last decision b4 its 100% confirmed in my head and i order :D

what do you mean the psu is way overspecced?

what cooler would you go for ? :(

im getting brain frazzled now lol not a lot of people suggestion corsair psu's..... i know nothing about psu so im totally going on the suggestion of you nice folks really :) if it were up to me id pick everything that looked nice and would not be compatible with anything lol...
