Please could you tell me if the following is a valid spec:-

Im looking for the best bang per buck for games at this time, plan to overclock the cpu and wonder if I really need the PSU or could I make do with my exisitng Hiper 425W model (HPU-3S425)?

Cooler is fine but you'll want some better RAM.

Excellent, that chart is very useful, will plan for better RAM.

Can anyone comment on the general spec and the psu question please?

Other than that, the spec is top notch. I would recommend getting the new PSU as the X1900XT is quite demanding and because you want to overclock too.

System looks good. Go for the geil ultra 6400 as said.

The enermax liberty will be fine. I'm using a 500w seasonic s12 at the mo.
