Ok so this is going to be my first build and im planning to OC. Also few things to point out, this is going to be primarily for gaming and I will be using a 40 inch screen.

Got a few questions if you could help me out:

1. Will this be ok to run on a 40 inch screen?
2. I know at the moment most games only use dual cores, does anyone know how the development into quad core is going for games/how soon will it be before most games will use quad core?
3. for the sake of £50, how much better is the asus branded 4870x2 over the HIS? Is it literally just the warrenty and extra stuff in the box and is that worth £50?

So yeah, critique away!

Cheers,
Ryan

Cheers for that. Good write up on the CPUs too! Ok so everything looks fine and dandy then, great stuff..... hopefully get to buying it tomorrow.

1. Your 40" resolution is 2560x1600? If it is 4870 will very tough for that resolution in game.
2. Go for Quad core if your money allow.
3.Go for HIS
