This rig will be used for gaming mainly, but the rest of the family has to use it for web and email and stuff aswell. Just wondering what you think, i may be ordering i today or tommorow.

This should be ok right? comes with everything i need to build? Whats not on the picture is a viewsonic 20 inch 1680x1050 montior plus windows xp home (dont want vista) i will be overclocking at some point, maybe not right away. The artic pro cooler comes with thermal paste already on rght? meaning i definatly dont have to buy any? (i know i should go for the OEM e6300 but its not instock and i cba to wait)

thanks to any replies.

Yes the MX-1 thermal paste that comes with the Freezer 7 Pro is just as good as AS5 if not better. Just make sure you install the heatsink right the first time.

The gigabyte will oc very well, it does not come with wealth of accessasories (i.e. USB/Firewire headers, SATA/Floppy/IDE cables...etc) but should at least give you a SATA and IDE cable.

looks nice, i would personaly go for 800 ram instead, and i would also go for a evga nforce 4 680i mobo.
im currently building a similar system with a 8800gtx
comes out as 1300 with belinea 22" screen

Looks good, the 620w might be slightly overkill but no real harm in it either. I might change the Liteon to either an NEC or Pioneer but that is probably just personal preference. The Ram should be fine for that I believe, if necessary you ought to be able to run dividers anyway. :)

thanks, cant really go for a 680i though, way over budget, my budget is £1200 including monitor and os and thats the best i could come up with.

How many usb slots does the DS3 have? because ive got quite a lot of usb stuff like keyboard etc.

thanks, should be ok for now, but does that mean there wont be any at the front?

Does the corsair 620w come with a lead to the mains?

It means that you can connect them to any ports on the front but Gigabyte don't provide anything to do so as far as I am aware e.g. if you have them on your case then you can use the lead and connector on the case. There probably is also a 2 port backplate or similar included in the box so it will take up a PCI blanking plate.

Yes the Corsair should come with a lead to the mains, every PSU or PSU and case combo I've ever bought has. If not it costs a couple of quid to buy one. :)

Total 10 USB ports but 6 of them are through USB headers on the mobo so you need 3 USB PCI brackets to utilise all 10 (2 if your case has front USB ports) which Gigabyte DO NOT provide.

Well Gigabyte list it down as an optional accessory so I'd imagine they sell it on Gigabyte website??

Otherwise go to google and search for "USB Brackets" under "UK sites only" then the first result on the page sells them.
