Hi, just finally coming to order my new parts and here is what i've put together.

It's really going to be for Overclocking, and it's all going in a Lian Li PC-7+. I just have a few question really.

Will the Tower fit ok in my Lian Li?

Would the P5N-E be as good for overclocking as the P5B? Or if not as good signifcantly behind.

Does the thermal paste that comes with the Tuniq match up to Artic Silvers performance.

And lastly, would the new 320mb 8800 GTS give me more performance than the 1950pro to justify the extra £30?

Any help greatly appreciated. :)

Go for a p5ne-sli just as easy to overclock and you have the perfect cooler to overclock.

With the change you save on the mobo, you can buy a 8800 gts. x1950 pros are great but the 8800 gts are absolutely amazing.

I had an 6800 ultra and the x1950pro is so much better. But trust me the 8800 gts blows it away in all benchmarks

You are going to have a killer setup you lucky bugger

That was my thought aswell, if the P5N-E will clock just aswell i can swap out the P5B and get the GTS.

Yeah, it's my first upgrade for 3 years, so i want to make sure it's a good. :)

Higgins, P5ne-sli and a 8800 gts.

Put oblivion/fave game and just be prepared to be amazed..

I was with a x1950pro!

Hehe, first thing i do when i finish it is load Company of Heroes up and take the settings as high as i can. It looked stunning on the setting i had to use on this PC (3500+ AMD and bios modded x800gto2) so goodness know what the new rig will make it look like. :)

It will cost me £1 extra for the 8800 if i switch out the P5B.

And having read up on the P5N-E OCing abilites (500 FSB for some ) I think that's going to be what i end up going with.

As an aside, i also read the P5N-E had some problems with OCing memory and that this was going to be fixed in a BIOS revision, has the problem been fixed?

Also, i take it when running a single card it does 16x PCI-E? Or does it only ever do 8x?
