Spec Check please.

I am currently running an AMD 3700+, Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, 2 gig of Geil PC3200 and a 512mb X1900XT. All in an Armor LCS with Fluid XP as the coolant.

At the end of next week I was thinking of going over to a Core 2 duo. I mainly use my system for playing games and a bit of video encoding. I have read a few reviews and gathered opinions, but before I order could you check my spec.

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 - £191.51
Asus P5B Deluxe - £122.19
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400 - £112.79
Samsung SH-183LBEBN SATA - £23.49

I welcome any suggestions on improving on what I have chosen.

My budget was about £450. Total came to £459.67 with vat and postage.

I can vouch for the ram and cpu

As for the mobo... ive heard good things...

I purchased the NEC over the Samsung SATA writer... both are great though.

The block that came with the Armor LCS should according to ThermalTake has fittings for Intel 775.
