Spec check please

Could someone please check over this spec, its for my cousin. I think everything should be ok, but just want to make sure:

Windows Vista Home Premium 64 OEM
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz (775)
160GB Maxtor Diamondmax 20 SATA2 8MB
DarkStar 500w Case (from a competitor, i think the PSU is a winpower one)
MSI P35 NEO2-FR LGA 775
Asus GeForce 7600GS 512MB
OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 Special Opps (2x1GB)

His budget is approx £500 ,he's not planning on playing many games (hence the choice of gfx) and wont be overclocking. He doesn't need a monitor or any peripherals so unless theres a glaring ommision, everything he needs should be in the list above.

you said peripherals does that include a cd/dvd drive ?

if hes not planning to overclock no real need for the OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 Special Opps, could go with cheaper memory.

if hes not gaming maybe go for an ati 2400.

yeah, i should have mentioned about the drives, no he doesnt need any opticals. The memory is the area im most unsure, any recommendations?

I'll check out the graphics card.

I'm not sure if this is any cheaper than what you already had but it should build into quite a decent system.

cheers, he wants the particular case I posted. after a bit of chatting he said he will prob play some games, but isnt bothered about having them running with everything turned to max, so changed the graphics card to an 8500GT.

I'll suggest those changes to him and see what he says

That would be true. I think he's planning on using it for a little more than that (not sure what though), he added the Quad core originally so i'll leave it in.
