Spec Check Please

Hi, i am building my step dad a new PC, but i am buying the parts on saturday and need to know if the following is good.

He will use it for Gaming, and watching movies.
His budget is arround £500

Sorry about the big sized picture, was taken on a 1680x1050, and i dont know how to scale it down.

for the money of that 3870 maybe worth getting a 8800GT or to save money get the PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 3870 XT Extreme.

maybe look at the 4gb of gskill memory seems to be more compatible than the ocz at the moment.

take it there is a monitor, keyboard, mouse, case.

wondering what sort of psu is going to be used.

Case PSU Monitor Speakers Mouse and Keyboard are already available.
