Hi all,
I'd be grateful if you could cast your eyes over this spec - Any changes need to be strictly within the specified budget as it is for an insurance replacement. I will also need to factor in the build cost from OCUK, but can't find this option on the retail site, bar selecting a similarly specced pre-built for the same cost.

Apologies if the formatting is squiffy, I'm limited to my phone for forum access, so if anyone would like to take the time to repost the above spec in a more readable format, I'd be very grateful.

Cheers!

The layout is fine, I can read it.

1) Get a Z68 motherboard, yyour missing a trick by not having Gen3 compatibility and SSD caching/Lucid Virtu and Quicksync (even if you dont use them)

You get VAT back on this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-188-MS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990

Or if you want to stick to ASUS - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-491-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990 - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-493-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990

2) The cooler is a bit naff for a £1700 build.

3) I think you should save money with some reference design cooler GTX570's that dump heat out of the case - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-112-MS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1010 - and they are in stock.

Forgot to mention, I have a Gelid Tranquilo, so that's going in instead of the Freezer7. My main point is that I need to go for pretty much the exact same comPonents as above or if different, they need to be the same price. It was hard enough to get the insurance co to understand the meaning of "Custom Built Gaming Rig" and stop them trying to supply an "Off the Shelf" PCWorld beige box.
The above spec is what the loss adjustor has determined I'm entitled to, so provided it doesn't go over that total, I can adjust the specs slightly. I just need to be sure to factor in a build cost too - which is what I need help with. I need the option of aftersales support for the whole rig, without having the hassle of putting it together myself.

Thanks guys, but my request is not to save money - I'm happy with the PSU specified. My issue is to find a prebuilt option with the above spec, minor component tweaks allowed, so long as it is the same cost as the above spec.

I like Stulid's suggestion of reference GPUs, as the Asus are triple slots and mahoosive!
It is also important for post-purchase support, I.e Gigabyte over Asus due to having a UK based RMA centre.

Thanks Stulid, I've put a thread in the pre-sale section with my requirements, hopefully get a response when they get in later. Will keep you posted.
