Firstly there is a thing which allows you to put the OcUK shipping basket into a neat format for us to see. It might be worth you looking this up; I'm on my phone so can't do this at the moment.

Now, I would recommend getting a XFX, Corsair or Seasonic PSU, also of you can stretch a little try to get as least a semi modular one, it will make your life a lot easy when you come to cable manage.

With the case I do not have experience. For that kind of price you could get something like a Corsair 350D which is a big hit amongst forumers or if this is your first build a HAF 912 is nice which is cheaper.

You will be fine with the GPU, but it is true that in a month or so there may be the 8*** series out. It's up to you, as the 7950 will perform very well sti just know that you could've gotten something better if you had waited.

Looks okay, is a blu-ray really needed? They are not common place yet, thats why there so experience.

That case looks nice but the cable management looks limited, maybe consider the 330R?

A heatsink would go well with that, to give it some overclocking potental.

I disagree with above, the PSU you've chosen is great.. that antec is seasonic made.

the 350 is mATX, so no and the HAF 912 is too different..

I think the 7950 is at a very good price ATM, though i'd go for the Ice-Q version. THe new release will be top end first..

Well you've taught me something! I didn't know that Antec was Seasonic OEM. :p There is a £20 more version of the same psu if you decide that the OP wants semi modular

yeah the Corsair 350D to be fair looks fine, just liked the look of the other and have no need for a side window

i wanted to get a blu ray player because im going to sell my PS3 and would sooner not have a standalone player

also no plans to OC so save a few ££ on a separate HS

P.S. where do i find out how to link it correctly :D

The 350D won't fit that motherboard in so you'll have to get an mATX board instead.

Fair enough on the blu-ray front.

If you don't plan to OC you don't need a Z87 motherboard or a k series CPU..

That could save you even more money.

Well can someone that knows what they are doing spec me something up please :D i have been out the game since i got a q660 back when they came out, not very clued up now, thanks

ALthough this is £30 more than you (£40 with shipping), you get a FANTASTIC GPU. The EVGA 770 is generally the best (people will debate over this) and the ACX cooling is fantastic.

If you were to swap out the 770 for a 7950, you would save about £130, making it a similar price to Doomed's spec above.

imo with your budget, you shouldnt be looking for a non-oc chip, that's just false economy

100% disagree with you..

If there was a very minimal £50/£60 difference, okay but £100+ difference..

If he's not going to be overclocking he will see no benefit from the extra £100 spent and im 95% sure that it won't translate into an extra £100 reslae value..

thanks for the specs guys, got a week off at the end of the month will get it done :D
