It seems fine. I'd personally save up just £20 for a better psu.

The power supply is fine. Both it and the EVGA are made by FSP. If you're going to change it at least go for something from a better OEM like Superflower or Seasonic

The One in the first post is fine but if you're looking at long term reliability go for a super flower one.

Thnx just noticed the 450w super flower gold(???) at £44.99 also comes with a free copy of watchdogs. Would that psu be ok

Yes that would be perfect. And watchdogs is a joke of a game I could only run it at low settings with me 270x and it would still drop below 30 fps very now and then

Doesn't sound too good. I had it on the x1 but didn't think too much of it tbh however it's the kind of game my son would play. Take it the rest of PC looks fine for budget gaming yeah

Yes it looks like a very good value for money build. I had my 270x paired with an fx 8320 and I was playing battlefield 4 on ultra and I'm sure you will be able to! When are you purchasing the parts?

Either wed or fri. Probs wed tho although I've had a look on ebay but nothing seems to come in as cheap as what I've posted above tho and I refuse to pay more for a child who already games on both next gen consoles lol

Thnx I've already made a few however not on a very limited budget lol just didn't know if that CPU would be worth in for cheap gaming however seems to get decent reviews for what it is

It's a great little chip on a budget another option is the unlocked pentium but that's undoubtedly more expensive

Yeah it looked at the pentium I chip but was a tad expensive.

On a side note how does a gtx 660 compare to the 270x

I always thought gigabyte were a decent make with top notch Rma support. Also is there much between a 92mm cooler and the 120mm coolers at all

If you take a look at the 780 ti owners thread on the last few pages it really puts me off gigabyte. For rma they just sent people the same broken card back.

And is that for the cpu cooler?
