Hi,

Any suggestions / improvements on the below welcome..

Going from a 10 year old Q6600, 4GB ram w/ Sapphire HD6950 graphics card!

Budget ~ £1500, am currently using 2 * 1080p monitors (a BENQ G2420HDBL and AOC e2343F), no plans to change so a 1060 probably more than sufficient.
Going with the full tower and m/b as I've got existing HDs to fit in there.

The 850W power supply may be over the top but that seems to be the base one.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
  • 1 x OcUK Tech Labs AMD Ryzen Pro Gaming PC Configurator = £1,552.82
    • Case:Zalman H1 Full-Tower - Black
    • Operating System:Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit DVD - OEM (MS-FQC-08929)
    • Build Time:Standard Build Systems - Dispatched within 7 working days
    • Motherboard:Gigabyte Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming 5 AMD X370 (Socket AM4) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
    • Processor:AMD Ryzen 5 Six Core 1600X 4.00GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
    • CPU Cooler:be quiet! Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler
    • Memory:Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C16 2666MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2A26
    • Power Supply:Super Flower Leadex II 850W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply - Black
    • Solid State Drive 1:Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-75E250B/EU)
    • Graphics Card:Asus GeForce GTX 1060 Dual OC 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

      Total: £1,566.92
      (includes shipping: £14.10)

      Cheers

Thanks all.

The main reason for going with the X370 and full tower was the additional space and on-board SATA ports to accommodate the drives I already have

I'll look at alternatives - for the B350 board looks like I'd need to drop down to the non-Pro midi tower system.
